We are looking for an INTEGRATION SPECIALIST with a strong blend of business process acumen and hands-on system integration expertise, who can effectively communicate with both our business and technology teams.

Join our enthusiastic and collaborative Technology - function at our HQ in Herttoniemi, Helsinki, and be a key player in driving our transformative projects forward. In this role, you will work closely with the company's integration platform and solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality across various systems. As an Integration Specialist, you will design, develop and maintain system integrations with the support of internal experts and selected technology providers and software vendors. You will play a critical role in creating integration solutions and architecture, as well as operating system integrations between core business solutions. Your efforts will drive o optimized, efficient and scalable business processes across all o organizational units.

This is a full-time permanent position, in which you will report to Marimekko’s IT Director.

Main responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining system integrations to ensure seamless connectivity across various platforms and technology solutions
  • Collaborating with internal system experts and selected technology providers to implement and maintain integration solutions
  • Creating and managing integration architecture to support optimized and scalable business processes
  • Ensuring the functionality and efficiency of integration processes between core business solutions
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for integration-related issues
  • Staying updated with the latest integration technologies and best practices
  • Evaluating and implementing appropriate technologies, tools and platforms to support system integration

We have a diverse business environment from design, manufacturing and global supply chain operations to comprehensive omnichannel sales and you will be working closely together with our organization units worldwide.

Areas of responsibilities can be finetuned based on the candidate’s competencies and interests, but to succeed in the role, you have / are:

  • At least 5 years of working experience in challenging, senior system integration developer roles such as an Integration Specialist, Integration Manager, or similar
  • Strong knowledge of modern cloud-based integration platforms and solutions, with proficiency in Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Hub, Azure Functions) Experience in automating deployments using IaC and CI/CD practices, expertise in API Management, C# programming (Python is a plus), fluency in MSSQL and a solid understanding of Microsoft cloud services. Additional expertise in other technologies is highly valued
  • Demonstrated success in leading integration development and transformation projects, with a proven track record of delivering solutions that align with both business and technology needs; experience in logistics, retail, EDI business, and commerce-related integrations is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Business process acumen and solution-oriented mindset
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment, being part of the multiple development initiatives simultaneously and prioritize own work to meet the deadlines
  • Ability to successfully interact with diverse personalities at all levels of the organization
  • Willingness and capacity to constantly learn new
  • Enthusiastic, forward-thinking, positive and team player
  • Fluent in written and spoken English – Finnish is an advantage
