“This is not a traditional ML role - focus is on building AI into business workflows and products”
We’re at the point where AI is no longer experimental - it needs to become part of how the company operates. The opportunity isn’t just building models, but embedding AI into everyday decisions across retail, e-commerce, and operations.
This role exists to:
- Turn AI from isolated use cases into scalable capabilities
- Help teams actually use AI, not just talk about it
What you’ll do
- Build AI into real business workflows
- Develop AI-powered use cases across:
- Pricing & promotions
- Assortment & demand forecasting
- Customer insights & personalization
- Retail operations
- Move beyond dashboards → actionable AI outputs
- Own the AI foundation
- Design and implement:
- LLM-based solutions (e.g. copilots, assistants)
- Data pipelines for AI use cases
- Evaluation, monitoring, and feedback loops
- Work closely with the existing data platform (Fivetran/Snowflake)
- Experiment fast, scale what works
- Prototype quickly ( APIs, LLMs)
- Productionize selectively (not everything should scale)
- Balance speed vs robustness
What you bring
Core skills
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- APIs and data pipelines
- Modern AI stack (LLMs, embeddings, vector DBs)
- Experience building end-to-end solutions, not just models
Mindset (this matters more than tools)
- You question whether something should be built -not just how
- You focus on business impact over technical elegance
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity and evolving direction
