Performance Marketing Manager
to join our dynamic and results driven Digital Commerce & Operations team at Marimekko’s Technology function at HQ in Helsinki. This is a fixed-term replacement position, starting as soon as a suitable candidate is found and lasting until 30.9.2027, in which you will report to Marimekko’s Head of Digital Commerce and Operations.
As a Performance Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for executing and optimizing Marimekko’s performance marketing and paid digital media strategy across key markets. We expect you to have strong practical experience in managing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels. In this role, you will lead digital acquisition activities, manage marketing investments, and work closely with agency partners and internal stakeholders to drive digital sales performance, traffic, and customer growth.
Main responsibilities:
Performance Marketing & Digital Media:
- Plan, execute, and optimize digital campaigns across paid channels such as Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, and affiliate marketing to drive customer acquisition and sales growth
- Develop and execute performance marketing initiatives aligned with business objectives and commercial priorities
- Collaborate closely with digital marketing & loyalty, analytics, content, and brand marketing teams to maximize campaign performance
Budget Management:
- Take full responsibility for the performance marketing budget in the EU region
- Plan, propose, and allocate marketing investments to achieve agreed business objectives and KPIs
- Provide budget recommendations and guidelines for other key markets
Partner & Platform Management:
- Manage relationships with external media and marketing partners
- Collaborate with agency partners to ensure effective campaign execution and continuous optimization
- Support the development and utilization of platforms relevant to performance marketing, such as Smartly and Braze
Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to traffic, customer acquisition, conversion, ROMI, ROAS, and digital sales
- Utilize analytics tools to measure campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimization
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations that improve marketing effectiveness and business outcomes
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Several years of experience in performance marketing, digital marketing, and ecommerce
- Proven hands-on experience in planning, executing, and optimizing campaigns across paid digital channels
- Strong experience in managing marketing budgets and driving customer acquisition and growth
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actions
- Experience managing agency and media partner relationships
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Fluency in both Finnish and English is required
